During this reporting period, Mauritius pineapple is at the early growing season. Onion was sown and first, secong season potato were also sown and entered growing period. Mauritius experienced a quite wet period as rainfall was 206% higher than average, temperature was 0.5℃ higher and solar radiation was at average (+1%), the potential biomass was 44% higher than average, influenced by the high rainfall. According to the crop condition development graph based on NDVI ,crop condition was at average during May to June, and a bit lower than average in middle April and late July. The rainfall mteporal development shows that rainfall was higher than average during April and May, which could cause impact on crop sowing, temperature was at average before June and reached 15 year maximum in July. At country level, the CALF was 100% and maximum VCI was 0.89, indicating that the agriometeorological conditions were good for crop growth in Mauritius.
